From the sell side to building for it.
I started my career as an analyst in equity sales & trading at RBC Capital Markets, then moved into marketing at IEX Group. In 2012, I founded Street Context to help sell-side brokerages distribute and manage research, market commentary, and client communications.
Over twelve years, Street Context grew into a global platform spanning sales, trading, research, and investment banking — serving more than 150 broker-dealers in 50 countries.
The company was backed by 8VC as lead investor, alongside iNovia Capital, Point72 Ventures, Portage Ventures, Social Leverage, Communitas Capital, Generation Ventures, and a group of executives and CEOs from major investment banks, hedge funds, and exchanges.
In January 2025, Street Context was acquired by BlueMatrix, a Thoma Bravo company, bringing together research authoring, financial data, and consumption analytics into one platform for the sell side.
Now I'm building Contextual Markets: a home base for what's next, at the same intersection of capital markets, technology, and AI.
